For some reason my travel link says needs subscription. It worked after I added the navigation. Any thoughts?

Thanks again. So my next question is: Does using this via iphone vs pc FORScan software limit the functionality? The app reads "lite" which generally means it is limited. Sorry if I'm asking questions already asked. Just trying to figure everything out. http://forscan.org/download.html

Important to also understand the answers,,, As far as I know the lite ones will not work for what we want. They don't even have the button you need to press. Do not waste your money trying..
And my iPad will not connect via BT to the MX.. And the WiFi MX is known to be garbage.

Checksum:
Last two bits are checksum in hex. If the checksum is higher than two digits, only last two digits are the result. For example:
7D0-04-01 0103 0200 00E2
07+D0+04+01+01+03+02+00+00=E2
if you manually change any of the values you need to calculate the last checksum bits to equal the new setting.
