I go in for the update tomorrow. I have towed for the past year with no issues and as soon as a recall is announced, I started having problems. Weird coincidence or did something get broken with a previous update? My experience is now when I hook up the trailer, as soon as I pull the gain switch I get the error message and it says the trailer is not detected. My lights will still work, but the brakes will not. When I disconnected the trailer, the next day, the truck still thought a trailer was attached even though it says it doesn't detect a trailer. I had to go in and manually chose no trailer attached. Hope this update fixes it, I would like trailer brakes when towing.

Just checked my truck status online and on the phone app, and the recall notice has disappeared.

Let us know how it goes. I’m getting the camper from storage Wednesday and having the recall done on Thursday. Dealer told me 2 weeks ago it was being revised and they would call me when it was available. They never called so I ended up calling them today and they said it’s available now. Can any folks that had it done confirm that all works as it should now?

My trailer brakes aren't working after the recall update. Mobile tech came back today, said there are no faults, and reprogrammed the TBM, still no brakes. Lights all work tho

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know if they worked prior to the update?

Absolutely. I brought my camper to the house to give it a spring wash, worked fine then. I keep it in a rental lot, because I don't have the space in my driveway

Mike Castrucci Ford Milford, Ohio came to home this morning and installed the update and handled the recall. I wasn't having a codes or problems before and don't have any now.

Mobile tech came and supposedly did the update. it doesn’t show on my app or in the truck. Hooked the trailer up and pulled on the brake gain and the trailer disconnected. Damn frustrating, I’m supposed to tow my SXS Saturday, wife won’t be happy when I tell her we can’t go.
