this order was placed April 15, 2022, for a 2022 truck.
my problem with dealer is the lack of communication, and the removal of items from my order.
I just won't accept a new truck that will cost 60K, without exactly what I ordered.
If I have to wait longer, so be it.
I'd stay with same dealer, if he had made an effort to communicate with me about these deletes - I sent him the long Ford notice of the deleted items and codes -
He never got back to me as he said he would. Now, today, I finally see the window sticker, and sure enough, Connected Nav and SiriusXm deleted. Nope - don't want it.
There are literally NO trucks anywhere with HDPP.

So I'm going to get my pickup today (side note, I planned on going tomorrow, but it's kind of odd the finance lady I worked with at Granger said it had to be today because no one at the dealership wanted to be open on Saturday this week?).
I wish I was happier about it. Of freaking course I wake up to this recommended article this morning! Ha ha. I honestly don't see how this isn't something a dealer can add later...

The giant elephant in the room is if you think either of those options are worth the extra 4 grand the '23 msrp is rumored to be increasing by. At least in canuckistan.

As far as Navigation you can use google or another one and as far as XM Radio there are plenty of free apps that play music

Well I'm wishing you the best of luck on your miracle build. I'm currently sitting in an Iowan brewery, looking out the window at my new $60k p.o.s. that's SO close to being a great truck. I didn't realize just how awful Android Auto was to use. I guess I'll be holding my phone going down the road a heck of a lot more than I used to in my '13. In the couple hours of trying it, it's been a pain playing Sirius from my app, it's been useless using Google maps on my phone, and absolutely smoked my phone battery. To each their own but I regret not getting my deposit back and keeping my old pickup another year so far.

ourhero -
just curious - in the dash, what replaced the SiriusXm radio and navigation?
I'm now thinking I'll just wait and see when this truck comes in, at least I'll finally get to drive
an F-150 with HDPP, and see how I like it.
I may revise my entire thinking, and just start looking for that '55 Chevy Bel Air resto-mod I've always dreamed of, and keep my 2010 truck.
