Default Remote Start X

I have a 2022 F150 STX 2.7L. It doesn't have remote start only via the Ford Pass App. I want to install remote start via the key fob.

Has anyone installed Remote Start X on their F150? Any issues? Easy install? From what I've read and watched on YT, it seems pretty easy.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

I was looking into, everyone says it takes about 5 mins to install,

I want to look into getting the push button start and remote start that way, but probably be super expensive lol, so probably not going to happen

Push button start would be too expensive and very complicated to install. IMO, not worth it unless it was factory installed.

Remote Start X seems to be straight forward and not too expensive either. Probably going that route.

I agree, probably not worth the Hassel of trying to install the push button start,

I'm going to try out the app remote start for awhile, if it doesn't like to work then I'll go the Start X route,
But still have to get the truck first.... Lol.
Hopefully have sometime in July

The Ford app has been super unreliable for me. Especially at work where we have signal jammers. Scheduled starts don’t even work. I’m going to try it out. Just bought it on the jungle website.

Start-x works great, it was the first thing I did when I got my truck.
It was very easy to install. Watch the Youtube video on it so you route the wires so they dont interfere with the glove box.

The truck will start the same way as if you used the ford pass app.
Make sure you get the one for the 2021. 2020 and older trucks are different.

That is good to hear! One of the reviews on the Jungle website said it fried his body control module.

Well for one, just cause someone said that doesnt mean its true.
Who knows if it was even installed correctly. Maybe he didnt connect the ground wire?

I know people who have start-x on their 2019 F150 and not one problem.

I tend to believe the majority.

I put this on my '17 STX (and another on the wife's '16 Fusion) and it may have been the single best mod/addon I did to that truck.
If I bought an STX today, it would definitely be one of the 1st things I put on it, even with the FordPass app.

Let us know how the install goes and if there were any problems. I want to order a d try the install myself but I’m afraid I’ll mess it up. Lol
it does look really simple thoughts.
