Double click lock. Yes the horn honks like normal. You click lock unlock lock it does not honk. It just starts. Then click unlock to enter the truck. It starts in the doors locked mode.
Scheduled start worked like normal this morning! I just used the remote start walking to my truck for lunch! Worked like a champ! Before with the app, I would try before I even started walking to my truck. It would attempt to communicate and start it but was rarely successful. Even scheduled starts for when id be walking to my truck wouldn’t work most of the time. But now I can just do the click sequence and it’ll be running when I get to the truck. A/C full blast cooling down.
@Slater2111 Thanks for the follow up and info. Mine just arrived a few minutes ago. I'm going to install it this evening after work. Should be easy. The 1st thing I'm going to do is ground it!! Then proceed with the connections and then programming.
I connected the device and it worked for a minute. Then when I try remote start it again, the lights flash and the horn continuously honks. I reprogrammed it again and it works for a little while. Then when I try to remote start it the lights flash and the horn sounds again. Might be a defective unit.
I’m not sure at all. I know you said you were going to connect the ground first. Did you do that? I did mine exactly according to the instructions. Also I did not get the lights to stop alternating from step one. I released the button on blue during the alternating portion. Other than that, try removing it completely and doing it again from step 1.

i did it exactly like the instructions stated. I reprogrammed it 2 times and still the same result. It works the 1st time. Then when I try it again a little later, the horn honks and the lights flash. The truck doesn’t remote start. I tried the app and Apple Watch, it worked one time then fails when I try later. ive removed the device and everything works as it originally did. Back to the factory settings.
