Because it's not a Ford Focus?

Enough is enough, I like to trade every year but I might be looking at RAM again or a Lariat. A 1/2 ton pickup isn't worth 83.5K, I don't care whose logo is on the grill.
Yes.

I'm looking at my '22 Platinum ordered with
-No moonroof
-20" wheels
-Powerboost
-Tow mirrors
-Bluecruise no subscription
-Paid like $66k
-No lettering on the hood
-Carmelo interior
-WithOUT CCD

Well, damn. Where did that truck go

I already didn't get a Limited because, among other things, I refused a moonroof

I mean... it's a truck first. I don't get bringing up an entirely different class of vehicle in such a comparison. You can easily get an Escape with heated steering wheel and AWD and all that for half or in some configs a third of what a high end F-150 costs, but throw 1000lbs of mulch or gravel into the back of the Kia (or Escape) and suddenly you realize where the money goes.

If you don't need something for that kind of stuff, then maybe you don't need the truck.

Not defending how expensive all vehicles have become, but this particular comparison is just silly.

So is the tremor no longer available with projectors?

Also, Lariat+ look good, but the XL/STX/XLT/Tremor grilles look like cheap plastic crap, even moreso than the 21-23's.

It might be plastic crap, but Ford made sure it’s not cheap.

Hard to believe you can no longer buy a Luxury Ford 150 with a V-8 engine. What a shame. Wonder how long before Chevy/Dodge will do the same thing? This would force me to go where the V-8s are if I was buying. Luckily my 23 Platinum 5.0/3.73 will keep me going at least several years.

I suppose you could trick out a Lariat and still get the v8

Really no comparison. Too many things are unavailable if you go that direction. I think they stepped on their peter eliminating the V-8 in the Luxury packages. And on a second note, many don't like that blueish interior. Thats why I went with a Platinum and not a Limited. I travel the nation working on Race cars as a retirement job and I needed black or at least a dark color. Now that's shoved at us too. KR is still available in a darker color; too bad they didn't at least offer a 5.0 in it.

example? What’s unavailable? Besides the nicer leather, you get HUD where you would have to go to the next platinum tier to get HUD
