Because technicians (as good or bad as they may be) are not software engineers. The only tool they have at their disposal is FDRS which only allows you to do whatever FDRS allows you do to. If the modules are not configured properly, FDRS will not allow you to go into the module code values and change them. Even if it did, an automotive mechanic would not have the knowledge of where to go and what to change and what to change it to.

The dealer applied TSB 22-2404 for modules that won't update back in May of this year. They need to apply that same TSB to the APIM and GWM as those modules also fall under that TSB. If they do that, chances are you truck will get fixed. That is the best advice I can offer you. Your situation is probably one of the worst ones I've come across based on what I was told by the guru.

Thank you sir, I forwarded your findings to the service manager and General Manager. We'll see if they are able to do anything.
I appreciate your effort!

Would you be able to help me with my screen problems. My truck has been to the dealership six times and currently is still there.

Hello. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this screen concern on my end?

Something you may need to know.
There is rapid response Team available to Dealers for resolving APIM. SNC3/SYNC4 programming errors.
Details on the Ford EDGE forum. Some reading to be well informed about it.
Look it up.
Good luck.

Either your Fordpass is not connected, or data sharing is turned off on your truck. I am not able to see any codes it may be reporting. What exactly is the issue with your screen?

My Ford Pass is not working. One of the reason the truck is in the shop for the sixth time.
