If you are not shifting at 7500 or hit the limiter while doing burn outs, it’s probably a waste of money.

as far as gears go, I would buy the boundary oil pump gear and the tss crank sprocket.

take note of what darian says and make sure you get the oil pump from the mustang if you have a 2018 truck.

Thanks for the answer but no it's a '13 Again also the belts are different, as far as I know. I believe they changed in '14?

From memory, Dorian said the 11 to 14's had the thinner oil pump gear, 15/17 had the thicker mustang style gear, and in '18 they switched back to the thinner gear. Apparently if I did this mod I would need the mustang pump and the billet gears.

Also I'm trying to figure out if the belt/pulley arrangement is a common ingredient for failure among those vehicles that have broken OPG"s.

its not, the opgs break from shock.

Hitting the rev limiter causes that shock.

Default Me to!

I am on my third month waiting for my truck to be rebuilt. I broke a piston with my supercharger. We are rebuilding the motor to a 9.4 compression with forged pistons and parts. I hope that it will withstand the Whipple horsepower I would hate to have to go through this again!

interesting decision to lower the compression. Most opt to leave it 12/1. If I lose a motor I’m going to lower mine but probably 10 or 10.5/1. Have you thought about who/how will it be tuned with such a drop in compression?

no leaving that up to my mechanic. We have discussed it and will check out the fuel air ratio after we put it together we have talked about changing the pulley also if a big drop in HP

My math says you’ll lose about 75 hp. The good news is you can get it back by dropping 4 pulley sizes and the result will be safer. What pulley were you running?
