The largest pulley available is 4.25 but that is not supplied with any of these Ford kits. I believe the Whipple kit comes with 4.0 for stage 1 and 3.875 for stage 2. Both are rated for 91 octane.

Dropping to 9.4/1 compression will buy you a ton of leeway for safety on low octane. I would have to spend a lot more time on the math to nail it down, but 12 psi boost should be super-reliable if the tuning is right. There should be plenty of room to increase it well beyond that safely.

Keep in mind, the gt500 runs 9.5/1 and runs 12 psi of boost without the benefit of direct injection.

Thanks for the input! I love the truck and was overwhelmed by the power just really bummed I cracked the Pistons. my mechanic seems to really know his stuff and has told me that forage parts are going to make a big difference and much more reliable with the Supercharger

I would really like to find an expert tuner to tune the truck though. I think that is the biggest hurdle once we get the truck put back together

Make sure he checks the cats while he has it all apart. Issues there can lead to piston damage.
