Default Volt Meter

I have a 2016 XLT/FX4 Supercab with the 3,5 ecoboost. I am wondering where I can see volts? Other vehicles I own have a digital display of oil pressure, water temp, volts, oil temp and trans temp. I found where it shows trans temp but none of the other functions. I understand the oil pressure analog gauge is really basically an idiot light.

I had the same need so I got one off Amazon. $10. Plugs in your power outlet plus it has 2 USBs.

I have a similar one. It's a cheap and good option but it is not too accurate. The reading may be off by as much as .4 higher.

I have a Garmin dongle that plugs into the OBD outlet and transmits all the data Ford won't let you see to a smartphone app via Bluetooth. It displays volts, water temp, load, throttle position, spark advance, vacuum, turbo boost, etc. and reads diagnostic codes. It doesn't display oil pressure because there's no sensor for that in the F150 (the oil sensor just reports satisfactory or low).

Looks like it's been discontinued. Mine is at least 10 years old. You might find a used one or something similar on eBay. Description here: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-WndVA5...oRoute-HD.html

I use a Scan Gauge II to keep tabs on reading the voltage

If you're interested in the Garmin option, check out BlueDriver. It's an OBDII dongle that transmits via bluetooth to a smartphone app. It's also a handy OBDII scanner, with the ability to scan individual modules, and not just the ECU. $99 on Amazon.
