Is this a plug in or did you remove the original and wired in a new flush mount?

Thanks

No cutting or drilling, fit the hole perfect. Cut the wires on the old plug. Soldered and heat shrieked the new plug. Re ensemble the trim. Works great been in for probably 3 three years now. I'll look for where I got it and post it back here.

Can't find exact one I bought. This one is exact same size. Will fit just like mine does. Just remove the rubber cover. Good luck.

Default Forscan lite and an OBDLink MX

Create a dashboard and be able to view/clear DTCs. Really came in handy when my throttle body went bad...

The connector is a dedicated "cigar lighter" connector and there is no mate. The connector is an Aptiv (formerly Delphi) 12176836.

If you don't want to cut this connector off, you could get some male terminal pins and just insert the wires into the connector. Use some care to keep the terminals and wires separated so they don't short out and then tape it up so they won't vibrate out.

The terminals are Metri-Pack 280 series such as Aptiv 12084586 (10 AWG), 12129498 (12-14 AWG), or 12020116 (14-16 AWG).
