Reading thru the whole thread, I see that it is very feasible to stick two on there. Wouldn't look bad either.

I would replace both tow hooks with them, but I can't find them for sale anywhere. It does seem like they'd be out there somewhere. Has me brainstorming how to do my set up using the shackle points instead, but I can't figure out a good solution for that. Trying to hang a surf fishing rod/cooler rack out there. The hitch receivers would be perfect.

Rhino is a small family business that makes a good 3/4" shackle and isolator set with about a 7 ton working limit and 21 ton break strength plus other recovery stuff, all reasonably priced. Available from them usually with a discount code, also from Amazon and Walmart. Their 200psi digital inflator is also awesome. They've got a shackle hitch for use with a receiver, but don't have mount stuff.

There's a couple front mount receivers out there you can throw a basket on or something but you gotta notch the air dam. Sounds like that's not what you're looking for though.

I had a front receiver hitch on my old dodge that worked well, but the front mount receiver options are garbage on this truck. Even with a level kit, they all eat up way too much front clearance. A friend and I fabbed up a receiver that came out of the center of the lower grill there, mounted to the front bumper supports, and that worked ok but had more flex in the bumper supports than I'd like. I can continue with that solution but am looking for something more solid. There are other threads out there where guys fab up a cross bar between the frame rails and put a 2" receiver on that, and I may have to go that route. But receivers where the tow hooks are at would be a perfect solution, especially priced at <$100.

It's a good question. The answer seems to be - overly complicated attachment points that cost many hundreds of dollars.

Hmm, reckon they reckon if you can afford a 1/2million dollar traffic blocker, you can afford the other hardware.

If all you wanted was a little light load carrying capacity and trusted it you might could just cut down a receiver tube, drill a couple holes in them, and mount.
