Has anyone installed a pop and lock power tailgate lock on their 2015 and up trucks? If so let me know how it went as I'm still baffled why mine didn't come with at least a key lock on the tailgate.

Does it not lock when you lock the doors? Not sure about the XL features.

 

Hit the lock button, give the fob to someone else, and go try it...

 

Reading isn't your strong suit but I'll tell you again that my truck, yes the xl model didn't come with a locking tailgate..

 

The xl doesn't come with a locking tailgate or even a key lock for that matter

 

That's crazy. I thought maybe you meant you just wanted a key lock, as my lariat doesn't have an actual key lock but locks with the doors.

 

Yeah I'll agree with you there. When I was reading the manual after I bought the truck last march it stated that.... no lock for the tailgate. Now I'm trying to find out if anyone has done this to there xl model trucks before I give it a go

 

Do you need any more info about the xl model??? Just making sure you're ok.. lol
