I updated from 2.0 to 2.3 and didn’t notice any difference. Absolutely I would hold off until the next update.

I updated to get the Ford Alexa functionality via an app on my iPhone. I tried it out, however probably won't use it again....

The effort to upgrade really wasn't worth it,

Im going to be doing this update soon and now it appears I have one more scenario to worry about
Went out to my truck after work, and 2.3 was there! Swapped the hub, and have Car Play now!

Howdy all. Got a 2016 F150 with Sync3, upgraded to v2.2 last summer. Over the last few months, bugs popping up; AA doesn't start when phone plugs in, have to unplug and replug, and when playing tunes through iPod/USB, it has a mind of its own on cover art. Sometimes it shows the correct art, sometimes it shows the Gracenote art (even though that's turned off in options), sometimes it won't switch art from song to song. Minor, sure, but frustrating.

Now I see that v2.3 is out there, but when I log into the owner's site, it shows v2.2 only and says I'm up to date. Anybody know what gives, why it won't give me the update to download? I'm hoping they fixed these bugs.

Thanks.

You should do the Master Reset, but my experience is that you don't lose your preset channels. You may have to reset your wi-fi and autoupdates though.

Mine did the same also. Would never show an update was available. I just found a local 16’ truck for sale with the same package as mine and added it to my owner.ford account. It showed an update available for the for sale truck and I just downloaded it via USB. Worked fine.

just did my update. says it was successful...however, I dont think it was. Ill check it in the morning to see if the version (currently 1.0 goes to 2.3). One other reason I am not optimistic is that when I loaded the USB drive back on to my PC, there was not a .xml file in the "sync my ride" folder to update to the ford site. Not holding my breath...

on a side note, I know it did something because under my settings tab, my "general" button is in a different location.

Mine still said Updated Successfully, but did not actually show 2.3 until the end of the next day, around 4 ish. I did, however, get an XML file.

Mine only worked after I finally put my all the files needed into the sync my ride folder and deleted "syncmyride" off the front of each individual one. Glad I found that tip somewhere!

Hope it works tomorrow!
