It is highly unlikely that you are pre-wired. Most likely your video cable end at the large connector located underneath the master cylinder so you will need to run your own wires from that location. All F150's come with that plug in the glove box. It's used to cap off the plug in the event that the tailgate it removed.

OK, reaching- Just purchased a 2017 F150XL. I have the power equipment group 101A also auto w/tow mod. Does this come with the wiring for the rear camera?

In my glove box I found FL3T 15A562 AB Rear Video camera wiring protective cap. I want to add the camera-not currently in the handle. Someone offered me there tailgate w/camera for 2018 same color as mine. After a lot of checking-sound like it will be a compatible swap. When I look at my harness going to the tailgate it only shows a couple wires. On the drivers side rear frame rail there is plug already capped that appear to be the same as what I had in my glove box. I removed the cap in it I I see six (6) wire connections -the wires going into the plug appear purple, white/green stripe, brown green and black. Is this where the harness for a camera would connect? It is not attached to the existing connection going to the tailgate lock. Thx,
