I installed mine (download from Ford) without the engine running. I turned on the key, waited for it to say it was updating, then came back in 35 minutes. I then removed the thumb drive, turned off the key and let it sit for another 2.5 hours (I was at work). When I left work everything worked like normal, I had to check to see if it actually updated, but it had. When I plugged in my iPhone I had to agree to all the terms to get CarPlay going. I did not have to resync the bluetooth on my phone though.

Thanks @fordxlt - I used your above script and successfully upgraded from 3.0 17276 to 3.0 18025. Initially I tried downgrading to 2.2 which I was successful with previously but for some reason this time it kept erroring out on me. Anyway, thanks again.

Yet to see a changelog, but I noticed....
- When playing music from a usb drive, you can now rewind / ff by dragging the slider
- Nav icon is different
- New Gracenotes
- New integration for Waze
- RDS data display improved
- Others have said overall speed / snappiness has improved; I'm not sure

I just want to publicly thank @Acool. My dealership was wanting to charge me to put in a all new APIM and I was close to doing it. My Sync 3 hadn't worked right in over 3 months after a botched 2.3 upgrade that left me without voice recognition. I can't thank you enough for helping us all out. hi Acool, i am trying to update sync 2.0 to 3.0 i have non navi 2016 and i see you mention that you need to update first with Navi version..
do u have link where can i get the navi version? and what do i need to edit in auto install file? having MEM ERR03.

help would be appreciated it. thank you
