To those owners that say they will drive it until something breaks, then make Ford fix it under warranty, what if it gets worse slowly, and then finally breaks when its out of warranty? If its the transmission, that will be thousands of dollars to fix, and you wont get much for it as a trade in if something major is broken. You will be better served by filing the BBB arbitration forms (its very easy and free) and I promise you, Ford will pay attention to you then. Remember, the squeeky wheel gets the grease, if you stay silent and give up, nothing happens and Ford wins, and this clunk will bug you as long as you own the truck you probably paid alot of money for! Dont give up, get mad, WE need you to join us in complaining about this issue or nothing happens. Google the "ford powershift settlement", many of those people were told it was normal and now they have won a settlement!

I wonder why the Chevys arent experiencing this problem? Also the mustang uses the same transmission doesn’t it?

Chevrolets are not installing Ford 10spd transmissions in their trucks or even 10spds at all, yet.

And are the Camaro and Corvette trucks? Are the 2019 Silverados on the lots yet? And did Ford build any of the transmissions in these GM vehicles? I know that Ford and GM worked together to design the 10spd transmissions, but I doubt they they are being produced and assembled in the same factory to be dispersed to Ford and Chevrolet.

Mine has done this a few times as well. Only when the engine was warm and I was stopped for less than 30 minutes. My truck is a 2018 5.0 with just under 3k miles. Ive never noticed it when the engine was cold or when the auto start/stop engages.
