I live in WA, used to commute to Swan Island everyday. I moved further north and no longer have to deal with that Portland traffic and those bridges.

LOL...besides re-erecting a 1 1/2 year old thread...using an example that at 7000RPM you will notice a difference is pretty hilarious.

Sorry to all to responding to a 1 1/2 year old thread response but I couldn't help it... was just too ridiculous to pass up.

Great minds at work.....need to work on your math, it's less than a year (Ya, wrong on my part). Mind you there are aren't enough unintelligent unhelpful posts.....(still not helpful)

Pretty sure me typing back from the dead was acknowledgment of what I was doing..... and 7k rpm is often the midpoint in the WOT RPM range for any tuned 5.0.....

How on earth do you have that comment in your sig? You personify that anecdote......

9/21 to 3/23 is less than a year? Almost exactly 1 1/2 years!!

longtubes and proper lead pipes are a larger gain than just deleting stock cats. And that’s fun you have high flows with the longtubes let alone if they’re catless. High flows in a longtube y pipe though offer very little restriction

Factory manifolds offer great flow, especially when ported, I’m more looking to dodge the bullet of fried cats / blown engine. But the back pressure reduction would seem to be more significant with the cats. Not saying more power would be gained, but it’s not the silliest thought.

Most people gut the cats but leave them in place. Yes, the sensors can be fooled several different ways. No, it won't smell any worse if tuned correctly. Yes, gutted cats will pass a visual inspection because they are there. There's no real reason to do this unless you have clogged cats in which you need to find out why they clogged in the first place. Yes, I realize this is an old thread but I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon as well.
