Does anyone use/recommend a radar detector?
How/where did you mount it?
I feel the need for speed while not losing my license!

 

Been happy with the escort max360 using a blend mount

 

My Escort Max 360 has been good to me, I have it mounted with a Blendmount that mounts it right below the rear view mirror. Wired into the rear view mirror with a mirror tap wire. Best looking / clean setup. Escort has some newer models now but can't go wrong with them in general.

 

I have been happy with my Escort Ixc and M1 dash cam mounted with a blend mount.

Does the “Mirror Tap Wire” come with the detector? How did you determine which wire to tap into on the mirror?

No you can purchase it with the blendmount through their website, or get one on amazon/ebay.
There is a good thread on this forum about which wires to tap on our mirrors. I used that as a resource.
