Default Mudding gone wrong. HELP!

So yesterday I wanted to have some fun with my truck in the mud. It lasted about 15 minutes before i got stuck. I got pulled out by a friend. So i got in my truck this morning and when i pulled out of my driveway i noticed that my rotors were squealing really bad. So i toke off and my rims and power washed my rotors, calipers and under body for a good hour. So put all the rims back on and pulled out of m,y driveway and the squealing was the same. I have no clue what to do know.

If you drove it home without washing the brakes first, it could have scored your pads/rotors. Look for gouges in the rotor. It'll probably need turned. Might be time to upgrade tires and suspension.

You probably have grit/sand between the rotors and the backing plates.

there are no gouges in the rotors. I'll just take it into my ford dealer Monday morning.

Manuellabour is right about about the scoring. Mud is basically liquid sandpaper. Honestly (and this is my opinion) but I personally would never take a truck that new and expensive mudding for many reasons.

1. Good luck cleaning all the mud off. I promise it's still everywhere under there
2. It's hard on your drivetrain. You were given a sweet truck. It would be a shame if you beat the hell out of it.
3. I'm sure it put some nice small scratches in your paint.

I'm also going to give you a piece of advice. Many of the people on here (including myself) have worked very hard to pay for our trucks. I'm very happy for you that your parent's were so generous to buy you a nice truck for your birthday, but when you make a post about abusing your truck, and post pictures showing you opening the doors while buried many people here are either going to blow you off or chew you out. These vehicles are trucks but they are very expensive vehicles and to see someone beat the hell out of a truck when they didn't even pay for it will rub some people the wrong way.

I'm all about off roading, but with the money you will spend on tires and repairs for you truck why don't you get a beater car or a cheap ATV. They're easier to clean and cheaper to repair.

You could have a small rock lodged between the rotor and brake pads. I have seen it before. It requires removal of the caliper to dislodge the rock in most cases. Good luck!

Gotta learn somehow right? and glad to hear it stayed dry. Otherwise you would probably be in a world of hurt
