Default light sensor or camera?

2019 STX, top center of the windshield, is it the light sensor to control the auto high beam? Looks like a camera, I wish it is a cam but I know my truck has no front cam.

Also what is the *** on the front center of dash under the windshield (shown in pic 2)?

Second pic is the daylight sensor, it activates the auto headlights as far as I know.
The first I have no idea to be honest.

I always just figured the thing above the mirror was for the collision alert?

The camera is for the auto-high beam, auto braking and I believe it also controls the lane-keeping on trucks equipped with it.

Try to answer the question raised by myself.

The top one should be the sensor for auto high beam and pre-collision assist, according to the video from ford website:

Default Help, orange lines going across and obstruction.

Hey all, maybe some help. Traded in my 2018 for my 2020 which has the front pre collision assist. The truck is 3 months old and last week im getting a message that there is a fault with the pre collision assist. I cleaned the front of the windshield in front of the camera that is behind the rear view mirror on top of the windshield. Still had an error. Then I googled and i was led to believe that behind the drivers side bumper pad (plastic next to license plate) there was a sensor. So removed that, nothing there and of course the clips broke so now I have another problem. But the sensor problem still there. I did noticed in the windshield glass by the camera has orange lines like the rear defrost, and they are not particular level or straight. Any ideas as to my problem and what may be? And is anyone else defrost lines as not straight as mine, maybe they're blocking line of sight?

I'm new and I realize this may be in wrong place. I apologize. But breaking the tabs and already a problem has me a bit stressed. Please feel free to move to correct place.

Why are you screwing around with a problem on a truck that's still under warranty? Dealership time.

Default Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for replying, the reason why I am screwing around with a truck under warranty is a couple of reasons.
1. It's my new truck, I'd like to know how it work's, whats normal and whats not.
2. Maybe its a leaf In front of a sensor or a camera. Go to a dealer for that?
3. Id like to arm myself with as much information as possible. So if it isn't normal for the camera defrost to be like that,, I can say,, here look, why is everyone else's different then mine when they try to BS me.
So thats why I'm asking

The defroster lines haven't moved since you bought the truck. We can all see that it's not a leaf. It's not normal to get a fault message on a 3-month-old truck, so you should go have the dealer's service department figure it out before you break something else that you will have to replace at your own expense. I had a blind spot sensor fault on mine a couple weeks after I bought it... the dealer identified the bad sensor and had it replaced by the next day.

Not asking if the lines being moved, maybe you misunderstood. Was wondering if the angle was normal placement. Many places said the front collision sensor was under the black bumper insert pads, only way to check that was by removing it. Thank you for replying, but sometimes people would just like help diagnosing their problem, not a recommendation to just take it to the dealer. Different strokes for different folks. I, personally, like to try and fix things, thats me, before I take it to a dealer who throughout life I've learned though they may know more than me, usually careers about your vehicle and dont treat it as kindly as someone does their own vehicle. Again, everyone is different. But , ik just looking for other peoples ideas of what may be wrong. I feel this is turning to a back and forth conversation about life philosophy, so let's just try and stick to the what may be wrong with the truck advice, thanks.
