Cool to see a truck with a Boss HTX. I swear by Boss and wont run anything else. How much did that setup run? I've never priced out an F-150, usually F-350 or above with VXTs.

I got it from a local installer for $5,330- I saved $1,000 over the dealer's price, but of course, it was a cash deal and I couldn't add it to the loan from Ford Credit.

That's not too bad! We could easily get into the $8Ks and sometimes into the $9ks for our plows.

Wow, that looks great! I have a Race Red too so that gives me some idea of what a slight lift/leveling would look like.

275/60-20 - so 33" tires? I'm thinking of 33's or even 34s but I don't want to make it too high. I pull a trailer and every now and then I park in a garage and as of now I have probably less than 4" of clearance from the garage door. 2" of lift + 1" of tire would put me close to not fitting.

The black trim looks good with the race red. Mine has too much chrome for my taste. I'll likely start 'de-chroming" as I go along.

Love the Black and red. I have the opposite color scheme. Agate Black with The red STX emblem and red letters on the F-150 Badges. I'll post a picture after I get the 2" lift next week. I expect the 1/2" rake as I have already dropped the rear with 2" shackles. The V8 and the plow frame still lower the front a bit. Wish me luck.

Thanks! Yes 33 inch tires. I fit into my garage and parking garages. I don't think I'd want it any taller honestly, would be a little tight I think. With the Bilstein 6112s up front and 5100s out back it's a good setup. I'm very happy.

1st thing to note is the ride. It is a HUGE improvement over stock. Rigid when you expect it but just as plush, if not more, than stock. I’m really digging the ride quality.
2nd thing to note is that I have all the clearance I will ever need with the tires. I went off reading through ruts and washboards and didn’t rub. I had a few full compression hits and no rub.
the suspension is worth every penny and there are no rubbing issues with the described setup. I just wanted to share this since I had read so many articles and posts that left me wondering if I would rub or not.

cheers!
Thanks for the info. I'm new here as well but have lurked for a while.

I reached out to my dealer and they didn't know a thing about it. I was pretty surprised by that so I showed them the media release from Ford. I'm waiting for them to tell me what the installed cost is before I do anything.

Nice to hear feed back on the new Ford Performance leveling kit.

The ride quality is a concern to me and with the reply from Fox when I asked them about the differences between Fox, Fox Roush and Fox Ford Performance they indicated "The new Ford Performance Kit coil overs do use lighter spring rates and are tuned for a broader audience, meaning they will provide the leveled stance with daily on road ride comfort to match or exceed Fords top trim levels not including Raptor. The Fox Performance Series and Roush coil overs have firmer spring rates and are tuned for the rowdier more enthusiastic drivers wanting that added performance when they do venture off road." your observations provide excellent confirmation. Thanks.
