I have a 2016 F-150 Lariat FX4 3.5 Ecoboost with 20” chrome factory rims. I want to install a 2” leveling kit and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I’m having trouble with finding the right size / largest tire that will not rub (do not want to do any trimming or cutting). Would like the tires to be flush or stick out slightly past the fenders. Prefer not to use spacers.

Looking at the sizes below:
33/12.50R20
305/55R20

Will I have any issues with either of these sizes?

If I am way off on my thinking and will not be able to achieve what I want with these sizes, please suggest other tire sizes.
I had a 16 with bilstein set at max height running wild peak at3, 305/55R20 on stock rims. No rubbing and no trimming.

(Sorry forgot to tag you in my first response but there is a picture of my truck leveled with the tires)

Well at first was great. Firm but in good way my truck was way to soft stock. But something has changed after adjusting them down and adding 1.25 wheel spacers on the front. It has gotten stiff and hits some bumps really harsh. Hoping after new tires and another front end alignment it will smooth back out.

That's interesting, you wouldn't think either thing should make the ride harsh. Hope you get it figured out. I've talked with Halolifts a few times and they've been very responsive, you might contact them and see if they have any idea what might be going on.

I know these aren't the tire size you were looking for, but here's an older pic of my 2015 on 285/65R20 and a 2" lift. I went with the Gatorback CS mudflaps which have a slightly offset design. The closest the tires get is about a third of an inch. It's close, but they've never touched. Be warned that after a level the front wheels will tuck into the wells even more than stock. I would like to have a wider stance, but the height of my current tire combined with the mudflaps won't allow it.

I really dig that tire size. I'm thinking about it, but I'm running aftermarket 20x9.5's at 15mm offset, so not sure what clearance /rubbing issues I might face.

Just put on a 2.5" level with 33x12.5x 17 BFG KO2's with black Raceline Defenders. Love the way it turned out. Level is only temporary until I upgrade suspension down the road. Lower valence will be coming off and putting on Raptor skid plate.

so would you say the 2.5 Motofab spacer and the stock FX4 1.5” block would level it out evenly?
