2015 2.7 Ecoboost, Halo Boss 0 -3 inch adjustable front leveling kit (Set at 2.75''), 20''x8.5'' Ford Performance Wheels (+44), 275/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler
shortcopper Hows the ride compared to stock? I was looking at this kit for my 2.7 as well but worried that it might make the ride too firm.
the ride to me is perfect, in my opinion the ride is better. I’m sure if you adjust all the way to 3” it might get a little harder but at 2.75 it’s good.
I installed a motofab 2.5 on my 2016 4x4 also added a 1 inch block to the rear. It sits almost perfectly level. But the ride is super stiff, if I changed the stock shocks and strut to bilstein 5100 could I still use the same leveling kit on the front?

Hey everyone just figured I'd post my Setup here. It's a 15 Lariat 3.5 Ecoboost, with the 6.5 bed and I capped it for our camping trips. Reading through I can see people have a lot of questions so some insight. I actually manage a shop and get through hundreds of trucks a year with people asking these questions. So without cutting anything or breaking the bank here's a out as big as you can go without running into complications. It's a 2.5" level up front and I'm running LT275/65R20 Bridgestone Revo3s, that stands about 34" tall. The wheels are 20X9 XDs with a 0 offset so they stick out of the fender well about .5 ". With this setup I didn't sacrifice right comfort or have horrible noise and ride from some cheap tire that "looks cool" . I mean to each their own but I do 95% of my driving on pavement so an AT tire that rides like a hiway tire was a must. Just finished a 3400 miles trip through 4 national parks and felt like pavement offroad. Now I did not trim my crash bars so when backing up at a full lock of the steering wheel either direction the control arms shift forward just enough for the shoulder of the tire to polish that crash bar. Other than that no complications.

Changing your factory strut assembly with an aftermarket performance gives you a stiffer spring, but it will handle off-road better than factory. Trade off....that stiff ride you mentioned. Your leveling kit fits your factory struts and you will recoup that smooth ride. Hope that helps.

Interesting as I did a 2.5" Motofab level and added 4x4 OEM blocks to the rear (I am RWD). Also put some 275/60/20 Falkens on. Ride is every bit as smooth as it was right off the lot.
Looks clean, I wouldn't have guessed it was a 2WD just by looking.
