Title Fee $29.25
Plus Sales Tax

This did not come in the form of a quote sheet. It was just written out in an email.
Without an actual Quote sheet you have no proof that rebates ($2,500) are not included in that in that Sales Price. An actual Quote sheet (as recently posted by another member) forces a Dealiar to show Rebates as a separate line item number because of Sales Tax calculation requirements. Getting quotes like you're getting leaves one open to a complete bait & switch.

Hi if anyone has PNA available - here is the window & quote sheet I received today. The ask is $39,549 on a 2018 XLT.
I'll try doing a hand calculation tonight and posting my guess. First time trying this for me so I am sure I'll goof it up.
Thanks for your help.

$7,106 (Dealer Discount)
-$100 (Dealer Fee)
$7,006 (True Dealer Discount)

$50,660 MSRP before Destination
$7,006/$50,660=13.83% True Dealer Discount

On the face of it looks like a good deal.
Not knowing the dealer incentives its hard to say.

Thanks Gene! he showed his Zip Code so the rebates ($5,500) including Ford Credit are right that they listed in his quote sheet

I'm totally unfamiliar with you and how you got to this deal, but at 13.83% TDDP, you better RUN to get this deal. The license seems high but some states are. Just watch out because they may pull the rug out from under you. Not sure if you intentionally cropped this quote but I see no Stock# or VIN#. The false MSRP does match when you subtract the $2,500 factory discounts on the sticker. Run man Run - ahh, better yet - take an Uber so you can drive it off their lot ASAP at the TDDP.

Do you have a Ford Private Cash Offer?

I don't have the PCO - I called but haven't seen any free money come in my mailbox or in email yet. I've been following the suggestions posted here.

I love haggling and sales and have been running the game with about 6 dealers here the past few weeks. I could kind of tell I was getting some where I liked the #'s but it bothered me there was no way to benchmark what I was getting off MSRP - until I found this thread online.
They were also throwing in a free tonneau cover for me. It's not a demo or anything. I thought it was pretty good. I cropped the VIN so nobody would take my offer and go buy it... haha
My only thing is I feel like I want to stay with lariat or platinum and I'm hesitant to go with an XLT and then regret it.... I wish there were a computer program to tell me the answer to that question!

Dealiars don't like giving those kind of discounts for Lariats and up so you may see a different picture.

Who needs a computer program. We used to always rely on the Magic 8 ball to make these hard decisions!

I'm trying to work a few angles on a couple of dealers to keep trying for the best overall deal, here is what I just sent over on an inflated quote, requesting they try again and see what they really want to do. I have a pretty good deal so far at about 10.49% on a FL Platinum but I'm not buying until a meet with my CPA and probably towards the end of month so I have some time to keep trying...

Thanks for sending these over. I have some questions...

What accessories are in the $1049.80 line item?
What is a pre delivery service charge of $799.95
What is the processing fee of $199.50
What is the whited out $400 random fee?
Why is your quoted retail starting price $500 higher than the window sticker price?

I've got a handful of other quotes on trucks very similar if not the same and the highest dealer fee so far is $599. There seems to be a lot of extra stuff added on here. Right now you're balance remaining number is easily $5,000 over a few other initial quotes.

If these are fees you can't do anything about I understand and I'll be happy to move on but if you can come with a better deal with a lot less fat I'm happy to review it.

Just signed up to comment on this legendary thread. Great to see the community come together and make sense of this all and to help buyers out. I have a lot more reading to do to understand this completely, but I will be back soon. It seems like Sept is a good month to buy.
