Welp... Moving onto out of state dealers. These fools here in AZ don't want to play nice.

CA/NV/AZ/CO are 4 states that suck so be prepared for a letdown. Just don't be discouraged because at times one could find a Dealiar that needs your Sale and is willing to negotiate. If you've exhausted your prospects then it's a good choice broaden your search to areas outside the box where savings could be substantial for just a little extra time to do a road trip and enjoy the drive home in your new truck..

Bear in mind, this year the inventory levels are a bit lower since that fire that halted production temporarily so now end-of-year demand outweighs supply causing Dealiars to be cocky with not moving on price. F150 Sales have also increased each month making that another factor that works against Buyers these days. Last year, after July 4th, Dealiar Discounts for the most part dwindled right on through the year unless one was buying a 5.0L, a less popular color or SCAB.

Deleted. I disagree with how the parent company runs ford-truck.com and f150forums.com. I will not contribute to such mismanagement.

Default Ordered June 30th

I had been looking for months at 18s. The devils up to buy kind of came out of the blue. I still had 3 years on my 13 STX with 50,000 miles. I figured now would be a good time to trade her in due to the combination of miles and positive equity. The black 18 XLT 302a has caught my interest, until I saw the SE version. I saw many dealerships were giving around 10k off MSRP if not a little more. When I couldn’t find the truck I was looking for I decided to look into ordering. My thoughts, why couldn’t I try to get the 10k off on an ordered truck?

I went and and saw my dealer a week or so before the incentives expired on the 9th and we placed the order based on the current incentives.

Total base and options before any discounts/incentives was 55,325. However, they went off the invoice total base and options at 51,536.24.

With the discounts and a 500 PCO I got it down to 48,734 and then an additional 6050 took it down to
42,684 before taxes and fees. Tack on another 9,525 for my trade got it down to 34,743.44.

Give Dakota a call at Rusty Eck Ford in Wichita Ks. Gave me a hell of a deal on a 2018 STX 4x4 Supercab.

Calling a Sales Gnome directly is not good advice.

Blubyu, you've posted on this thread a while ago so I assume you've had a chance to read the thread to know the reason why this can be a disadvantage.

Yup, I know I've posted it before, but this is why we go to Boise. At Lithia Ryan is the sales manager and Victor is our rep.
