Except for the color combo--it was the only one I could find even in searching any distance from me.
I don't have a problem (and don't consider it SPAM) with someone name dropping a dealer that's putting out good deals. Dealers in the metro TX cities have been brought up before as having better deals than dealers in other parts of the country. After all, this whole forum is basically free advertising for FORD.

You have a real plus in your favor because Window Sticker shows a 1/12/2017 build date. That was before two price increases of the base price from $40,635 to $41,235 (current base Price) That is a $600 increase there alone which is about 1.5% savings vs buying one that was built after April 1st.

Taking that into consideration you should tell the Dealer that you want to get your price quote with a Dealer discount amount only or the 'Sales Price' (Total MSRP on Window - Dealer discount. This must exclude Rebate Incentives and Tax/Title/License or any Doc fees which you should be asking up front what it is. The Doc fee can add a couple percent back to the Dealer if it's high.

$50,285 Window Sticker Total MSRP
$-5,645 Dealer discount
$44,640 'Sales price' before any rebate Incentives and TTL & Doc fees

The above is an 11.5% discount which is below Dealer Cost and the Holdback total. Tell them you want a written price quote and you promise not to share with other Dealers which I never do. You must also let them know you are shopping other trucks at various Dealers so they know you're not locked in to this truck.

Your rebate incentives should then be applied as below for Zip Code

$ -250 Retail Bonus customer Cash (Program# 13056)
$-1,500 Bonus Customer Cash (Program# 13058)
$-2,250 Retail Customer Cash (Program# 13052)
$40,640 Your price after Ford Rebates

If you take the Ford Credit Retail Bonus Customer Cash (Program# 13054)( You should do this if you have good credit and then refinance to a lower rate right away)

$40,640 Your number from above
$-1,250 Ford Credit Retail Bonus Customer Cash (Program# 13054)
$39,390 Your new truck Price before TTL and Sales Agreement Fees/Charges

There is an EcoBoost Rebate from Ford that some areas allow even though it doesn't show up on Fords website and you should tell them that you qualify for that.

$-300 EcoBoost (Program# 13006)Sometimes this is specifically for the 2.7L only and I've seen some Dealers apply it without a specific Engine size. It doesn't hurt to ask this be applied ONLY after you've first negotiated your Sales Price (Dealer discount) above.

Good luck and this may take a while but with Father's Day coming up they may be in a wheeling & dealing mood.

One other question - the Limited comes standard with 22" wheels but I'd really rather have 18" wheels. Thoughts on how to accomplish this on purchasing the vechicle and expected savings/cost would be appreciated.
Charles,

Sorry, I skipped over you. I don't have time because I'm out the door this morning but I'll work up a price this evening.

Everyone doing Military Appreciation - the Ford Website shows this Incentive expires on 6/21/2017. It specifically states that you must take possession of a Dealer Stock vehicle by that date. Ford may continue that Incentive offer but that is not known to be for sure at this time. One good thing is that a Father's Day weekend push on (6/18-19) may be on your side to seal a deal by that Wednesday (6/21)

If you can't get something like @gves2u got then you should just work a great deal on the 2017. If you PM me that Dealer listing I could try and work the figures on what you could possibly look to talk them down to on that one.
In case anyone was following my thread. I wanted to post since this thread was big help. Granted the below was not a true 16.2% since I had to pay $899 in doc fee but since I live in Florida and they are all that high anyone else buying in Florida will experience the same.

2016 SCrew Lariat 4X4 FX4 w 3.5 EB 3.55 gears - Ingot Silver and Black Leather. 502A with tow package, trailer mirrors, and tailgate step

Original MSRP = $58981
$1500 chrome discount
$1195 delivery charge
$58295- $1,500 - $1,195 = TOTAL MSRP (blue box #) = $58676

Vehicle sale price $49,167 (from contract)

58,676 - 49,167 = $9509 Dealer $$$ discount
$9,509 divided by $59,240 = .162 = 16.2% Dealer % discount

*Other stats*
$49,167 contract price
$3950 in rebates
=$45,217 before taxes and fees

$3,165 for taxes (7%)
$899 in doc fees and $150 tag
$45,217 + $3,165+ $899 + $150 = $49,431 OTD (+$1979 for extended warranty 6 year\72000 miles)

Just doing some research and it looks like the incentives offered right now are good through 7/5. Does anyone have any insight as to what might happen after that? My timing looks more like after 7/15. Do the rebates typically go away or get better?

I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to get an honest answer from a dealer. Would Ford answer?

I don't think they'll get worse. You're just going to have to wait and see.

I did some more research and zeroed in on what I'm looking for:
Platinum Super Crew with 3.5L Eco Boost, 10 Speed Transmission
Blue Jeans Ext; Brunello Interior
20" in wheels are standard, but I prefer 18"

Options:
  • 701A Technology Package
  • Twin Panel Moonroof
  • FX4 Offroad Package
  • Max Trailer Package

I think getting the color combo I want may be challenging.

Ford website Net Price comes out to $64,695.

Thanks!

I just got my brochure in the mail, and the back page shows a 'special offer' of $2000 off or $1500 off with 84 month special financing. Is that $2000 off in addition to current incentives?!? I've only read of people getting $750 offer in brochure.

Edit: Just did some googling, and it appears this is just a current incentive, NOT an additional offer

Thanks!

I just bought that EXACT truck today, and it was the only one I could find within several hundred miles of Dallas. Doesn't seem to be a very popular combo.
