Both were just replaced. What are the odds of a bad new bearing at this day and age?

What was the temperature this morning and what was it when they test drove it. Early on, it is more likely to do it when it is cold and not do it when it is warm. First time mine did it was only once in the morning for a little over a week straight. Never in the afternoon on my way home.

Don't know but, in the realm of possibility. If humans made everything perfect, we wouldn't need forums like this.

i have the same vibration that you have on my 2018... my 2015 is smooth however

to date the dealer has changed
both front IWEs
both front hub/bearings
steering gearbox
brake rotors
transfer case
front driveshaft (between transfer case and front diff)
roadforce balanced all 4 tires
swapped tires and wheels from a brand new truck on the lot.

Still my low frequency vibration is there. Its the same vibration when i engage 4hi on my 2015... but in my 2018's case, its always there..2hi, 4auto and 4hi... it doesn't matter.

vibration doesnt go away while coasting in neutral, accelerating, braking... it doesnt matter what gear im in... bed loaded or unloaded... cold morning or hot day... it stays

my dealer didn't continue to change the front diff or driveshafts... thats all that is left rotational on the truck.

i am leaning to think its the front diff because if i turn my steering wheel 1 or 2 degrees to the left, the vibration is amplified in the wheel....

my truck was with my dealer for 2 weeks... they have seem to given up and now say take it to another dealership

OP, im looking forward to hear on your further developments

ive been reading that this a common issue that has no resolution... owners are just giving up and trading in...

Thugzy, that really sucks. Your issue sounds a little different than mine.

I took my truck to the high volume dealer. The service manager and a tech put the "ears" on my truck again. The measured vibration was so slight that the truck is within spec, but both could hear the noise. The manager said that based on his 20 years of experience diagnosing driveline noises and vibrations on f150's, the REAR driveshaft is most often the culprit. He claims the vibration can 'excite' components in the front driveline causing replacement of parts that aren't bad. New driveshaft assembly is on order and will be installed next week. While I understand the physics behind his statement, I'm not confident in his assessment. Ultimately I hope to hell he is right!

Just read this entire thread. I've had IWE issues on all of my F-150's since 2011. I've had a 2011, 2014, 2016, 2018, and now a 2019. All but the '19, which is only 2 weeks old, have had at least one IWE replaced under warranty. On all these trucks I've had up to 100,000 miles. Most have been traded with 50k +/- on them. At least one IWE on each was replaced. On my 2011, they were both replaced. I don't understand why Ford can't solve the problem.

What kind of roads do you drive - dust, dirt, sand, normal? Do you use 4x4 often?
