I had the same issue until today when none of the commands are working.

I've been having no service for the past 2 days, sometimes it says it can't reach a server, and sometimes it says just plain failed try again later.

Getting a little pissed as it's still cold where I live and the factory remote start is obviously a pile of steaming ****. This was the golden egg laying goose in terms of remote start, but when it doesn't work, it is simply irritating.

Just received this reply from Spin Dance, the company that developed the software for Remote Access and does the billing.

This issue is related to a network communication issue that involves a third party provider that we are in constant communication with to resolve. We feel confident that this will get resolved, but unfortunately I am unable to provide you with a timeline at this moment.

We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you and understand that this is a high usage month for the system so we also know resolution is urgent.

Thank you for your patience as we resolve this issue.

And that third party is in the middle of relocating their facilities between now and Monday.

Aaaaaaand the app stopped properly working, yet again. The vehicle starts, but the app gives no indication as suck, only offering another error message.

I have a 2015 lariat 502a fx4. My window sticker said that i have the security system and remote start from factory. I purchased the rmu unit and have not gotten a chance to look under the dash yet. It's quite cold here in Canada. My concern is that I'm not sure if I'll need this vss module or not. my local dealer said all I needed was the RMU module (P/N dl3z-19a390-c).

This article does not state i need anything other than this part.

I'm in calgary I did mine last night. If you already have 2 way remote you dont need the security module as you already have it. But if you have the single key one way remote start you will. Also you need the 4 digit code for the RMU. The dealer tried to charge me an hours labour to get it and I complained and they gave it to me 5 mins later. 120 for the part and they wanted 150 to give me the 4 digit pin. It should be strapped right above the emergency brake, small 5 inch by 6 inch box. It piggy backs off the OBD connector so just follow it.

I have a push button start, there is a little led on my fob that gives me confirmation if it started or not. are you able to send a pic of this box?

So, I posted in another thread, but my truck is in power safe mode, anyone ever have this issue? I can't get it out (with the key/fob/start button or scheduling a wake-up through the app) - thoughts?

That isn't even coming from a person, it's like an auto reply. I posted the same email a few posts back and others posted it before me, this company doesn't give a **** about it's customers. No network issue should take months to resolve.
