I got this installed and Beau from Keith White Ford was quick to respond to my texts, also activated it over text the same day I asked him to. This is amazing for only $289.

So happy I found this thread!!

Yeah, Beau is an awesome guy. I'm pretty sure he's the hardest working parts guy around. I just ordered another one of these kits to have installed in my girlfriend's car for Christmas.

I have the sensitivity turned all the way up. When I hit the door or window, the horn honks one time. Is this how it's supposed to work? That doesn't seem like much of a deterrent.

I ordered mine from Banner at 3 pm Wednesday and had it installed and activated at 4 pm Friday. $275 delivered and activated with great service.

My truck has the remote access system installed. I'm having an issue with the system being in the power save mode. I can't get it out of this mode. I've cycled the ignition and also tried scheduling a wake-up for the system. I understand that it could take 12 hours to completely "wake-up". It's been over thirty hours since I cycled the ignition for the first time. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or who to contact? I bought the system from Bobby at banner auto and installed it myself 3 months ago. No issues until now. I reached out to Bobby but he hasn't responded yet. The 1800-fordkey wouldn't answer or return my call. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I spoke with someone at 800-FORDKEY this morning. I've noticed that it's best to do whatever you have to do in order to get ANYONE on the phone, then have them transfer you to technical support. I've never not been able to reach someone.

I think you're misunderstanding the scheduling a wakeup. You schedule a wakeup for 12 hours later. Example - at 9PM you schedule a wakeup for 9AM tomorrow. At 9AM tomorrow you should be able to remote start.

The "been over 30 hours since I cycled the key for the first time" has no bearing I don't believe. If you cycle the key, it's supposed to wakeup and be able to be remote started immediately. I posted that I had just driven mine and it was shown sleeping shortly thereafter, which is not an expected behavior.

could you just unplug the RMU unit and then plug it back in to wake it up?

I've unplugged the rmu and scheduled the system to wake up 12 hours in the future, none of these methods solved my truck from being in power save mode. I contacted the 800-fordkey number and was told that they are still having server issues. Bobby from Banner ford confirmed this as well. In the meantime, I scheduling another wake up twelve hours from now to see it it will work in the morning. Thanks to all for your input. This forum is great.
