Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Looks like you would also need this, http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/ft4z19a361a

I could ask one of the girls in processing to send you a link to pay for it so she can add it to the order if you like. Let me know on that, you could also contact them through the site.

As for the promo code, the site host took the little box away and just has a link to click to enter it (I don't like it either). See below.

I'll apply the discount for you, can't do a partial discount within the first 24 hours but I'll take care of it.

Yes, please let them know that I do want the additional part. As I used PayPal the box wasn't there can you please take care of that for both orders?
Thanks again Steve you've been extremely helpful.

The way you paid we can't bill you automatically, I'll have one of the girls get in touch.

Thanks, Steve

According to the compatibility chart on the below ebay site link, the Ford security system FS7Z-19A361-A is not compatible with my 2016 XL trucks. What's up with that?

I would like to look into this as well, I live in Canada is there something different about these kits for up here? Also I was inquiring about this from the dealer and they made it sound like there wasn't a plug and play kit for my 2015 xlt with sync 2, does that have anything to do with it or do they just not know?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I was quoted 399 for all modules and install at my local ford dealer. I am going to order it from Beau or from Banner Ford and do it myself and save about 150 bucks

Default 2017 Install

Yesterday, I received my VSS and RMU. I search and could not find instructions for installing the units in a 2017.

Looking under the dash, I did not see the same mounting locations as described in the 2015 instructions. I stared under the dash for quite a while before I found a good location. I thought I would pass it on.

In the attached picture, the VSS is mounted on the top of the metal plate. Rather than using zip ties, I used two of the screws attaching the VSS cover. These two screws line up diagonally with two existing holes in the metal plate. I added two washers.

The RMU is installed on top of the VSS. A zip tie passes through existing holes in the metal plate and then wraps around both the VSS and RMU.

Directly screwing the VSS to the metal plate appears to give good sensitivity to shocks.

I am having some trouble figuring out what i would need to get the alarm to work on my truck. I have a 2016 xlt with the factory remote start. Would i need both (DL3Z15603C) and (FT4Z19A361A) or just one of those?

I can't verify the p/n's you have but you will need both the RMU and the VSS.

Even though you have factory remote start you will need the RMU for the cellular connection.

Steve,

I bought the remote access module from your ebay listing, and now I'm being told by you guys over the phone that I need to have this dealer installed... where everyone on this forum - who didn't buy it from you - gets theirs activated through this Beau guy, online, remotely.

Which is it, do I need to pay 120-150 to have it installed at a local dealer? If so, I can send this back no problem since this was NOT mentioned in the ebay ad...
