Do you reach it from the top of the seat or the side?

yes from the top... fold the bottom up, put the head rest down then reach behind from the top and you will feel a metal pin like lever, pull up on that then use the handle on the seat bottom and the entire thing will fold down.

On my SCAB I can't get my hand back down there. I have removed the head rests so no need to fold them down.

That's why I have been asking if anyone with the SCAB has done it.

Can you post a picture of the seat back up and where you are reaching in to pull the strap?

Another "tip" I came up with... Every time i turn I hear my tray in the console slide around. So I implemented this high tech solution and now it never moves Just a small paper binding clip.

Smart idea!

I just stuck a very small piece of double sided automotive tape in the channel of mine but then it's difficult to remove. So far has not been an issue for me.
