Is that the backup/failsafe in case your battery is dead to get you in your truck key? It seems like one would need something with keyless entry fobs.

I turned the system off then back on again and then it started working fine.

There's a key inside the 'keyless' entry fob.

One thing I noticed while pulling a trailer this weekend. The back up radar (the beeps) disengages when the trailer is connected. On my 2013, you had to manually turn the back up sensors off, it was a kind of a PIA.

Also, tells you if the trailer lights are working. All my lights work so I don't know if it would tell you if one is out or not. In theory I guess it would.

You can also go to the trailer section and it tells you exactly how many miles on your truck were pulling a trailer. I think that also determines your oil change life. You do a lot of towing, then you service reminder comes on sooner than if had no towing.

Someone mentioned earlier that they wanted to get rid of the birds eye view and have the back up camera in the full screen. In reverse, push the camera button and it will go to full back up screen.

by locking the truck with the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons on the keypad, it seems to just lock. When locking with the fob hitting lock twice locks and beeps. Assuming that is setting the anti theft feature right? So the question is, locking only by the number keypad does this not set the anti theft features?

It beeps because you could be far away and not know it received your button press. If you're pressing the keypad it knows you heard it lock. It is setting your alarm.

I towed a 6x10 trailer the other day and played around with the towing settings. it recognized the trailer was disconnected when I unhooked, BUT it kept racking up the mileage on the trailer, so be sure to go into the select trailer screen and select NO ACTIVE TRAILER, if you want your trailer mileage to be correct.
