I don't think they do. I think they run while it's remote started. Then when you get into the car you need to turn it on. So if it's hot outside it will run the A/C Seats up until you press the button to start. Maybe sit in the truck for a bit before you press the button to start.
It was 90 outside and probably 110 inside. Started the truck with the remote let it run for a few minutes and still no seat coolers on. The control was set on auto. The fan speed did not even ramp up until I hit the start button. I had left the coolers on when I had shut the truck off and they did not come back on by themselves. I had to press the control button to turn them on.

I believe the answer is no.
So I have a 2015 Lariat 4x2 and where the 4x4 switch is on a truck with it equipped is a useless coin holder on a 4x2. I've seen older truck models where people have put something more useful there and I'd love to do the same, but all prior truck yr examples don't work because the design has changed. Does anyone have a solution for this years coin holder? I'd settle for a flat piece of plastic.
I have had this issue as well. I did a master reset on my system but it's still reading a wrong temperature. Did you figure out how to fix this?
