Curious what you mean by the mute button? The M on my steering wheel is for Media, and switches thru media options (radio, satellite, CD, etc). Mine is a 2015. Am I missing something maybe? Thanks
Maybe the hang up (end call) button? I believe it mutes the stereo. I'll try it out in 2 hours.
and what are these Tricls everyone keeps mentioning? lol
It was the one button on my steering wheel I hadn't looked at yet or paid any attention to! Stupidity on my part. It is the button right next to Sync voice activation. Sure enough, it mutes the stereo! Awesome.
If you have a flow through center console, a 2-D Cell Maglight snaps perfectly into the narrow trays on the outside of the console (driver and passenger side)
Thanks. Great idea. Fits perfect and great location for it
I wish all the f150 had the led in the head light,i am talking about the ring of led that go around the light ,i think the color is orange,,
I know. I thought mine was going to come with that, being a Lariat and all, but it turns out it's only one the high end Lariat and up, and mine was a mid-lux. Ugg!
I think the HL light rings will increase night conspicuousness and should therefore be on all the trucks. Seems mfg's would rather nickle & dime buyers with what they see as a cash in opportunity, when I see this particular one as a safety item! HL's are the same safety notion but may cost more to add them so should not be a part of a pkg that includes bling.
This is not a rant but a statement against the practice of mixing bling with safety items on vehicles-if it will save just one life it shouldn't be tied to a bling buy in!
Maybe this is old news but I just received my Platinum yesterday and noticed a "Secret" Key fob hiding spot. I assume it's for the extra key fob to fix the somewhat annoying double honk issue when walking away from the running truck with the other key fob? Sorry if this is a repost.
