Can you pop the tailgate while driving with the fob? Just curious. I'm sure it's not the smartest thing to do. And another thing, can the damn subject be fixed? Irritates me every time I see it! Haha

 

Great, I hadn't noticed that til you mentioned it.

 

Don't complain about the tailgate dropping. Google EZ DOWN. They make a dampener to let the tailgates down softly. Had them on my past several trucks and work great.

 

My gear position indicator (located on the right side of the tack) has gone blank. It used to show what gear I was in. I must have inadvertently turned it off. Does anyone have a tip how to turn it back on?

 

Hit the (+) button again on the side of the gear shift. I did the same thing a few weeks ago and had to ask my salesman. You can also us the +/- button in drive to lock out the upper gears if you are towing or knocking around town and dont want it to lug the top gears at 40 mph.

 

Thanks! I was checking the manual, and it doesn't mention it, but does the gear lock out. One book does not to all the features justice.

 

Curious what you mean by the mute button? The M on my steering wheel is for Media, and switches thru media options (radio, satellite, CD, etc). Mine is a 2015. Am I missing something maybe? Thanks

 

Does your truck not have any tricls?
Mine does not yet either, but its still new.
In a few years it may get a tricl or 2....lol

 

Maybe the hang up (end call) button? I believe it mutes the stereo. I'll try it out in 2 hours.
