    Well it doesn't affect your truck negatively. People say it "can" improve gas mileage a bit, but let's be honest, no one buys a tune to drive more modestly. You'll want to step on the gas a bit more. Just natural ya know.

    Regarding warranty. Well that's a bag of worms. In short, it does have the potential to void your power train warranty because Ford can tell you flashed the computer even if you revert it back to stock. However if you don't beat the hell out of the engine you'll be fine. I've had one on my 3.5 ecoboost for 20,000 miles without any issues. I'm no drag racer by any means. Just like to feel the rush every now and then and maybe leave a couple small streaks at a traffic light. I have an MPT 87-89 perfect/tow tune on mine. That's a pretty average tune. Nothing super aggressive. The aggressive tunes require 93 octane. I have one of those too, but it's a little jerky for me for everyday driving. Others love it though. Hope that helps.

    And basically. - tune doesn't void a warranty, or negatively affect the truck..correct?
