Did you go through this calibration process?

Reverse Tilt Mirror Calibration:

1) Switch the ignition on
2) Press the memory button
3) Select the mirror you want to adjust
4) Put your vehicle into reverse (R) and let the mirror automatically tilt until it stops
5) When the mirror is in its tilted position and is no longer moving, adjust it with the controls
6) Hold the memory button for 5 seconds to save the setting
7) Press the mirror button and return to park (P)
8) Hold memory button again

Sounds like you need to buy a 12v to 5v outlet. You can either replace one of the 12v outlets, or, you can piggyback it to one of the 12v outlets. That way, you will have a 5v USB outlet that is powered when the 12v outlet is powered.

That's not a bad idea. I may just leave it as is and use the old 12v plugin adapter I picked up for my last vehicle. I'm really only looking for a place to charge a phone/tablet while out camping.

Gonna install a 2019 Mustang Bullitt all-digital cluster I bought in my F150 this week and mess around with FORScan to see what does/doesn't work just because I'm curious

Default 100% Disable Auto Engine 30 Min Shutdown Feature

I refined the data used in my previous tests. I now have AEIS 100% disabled including after ignition restarts. It eliminates the menu from the cluster too. Since refining this test data, my truck has idled for a period of over 40 minutes on at least 4 separate occasions without any operator interaction.

I used:

IPC:
720-01-01 24xx xxxx xxxx
Note, my truck does not have Adaptive Cruise Control. If yours does, you'll need to use '7' not '4' at 720-01-01 x*xx xxxx xxxx

*** This post has been edited. It was previously thought that a BCM edits was also required.
726-22-02 xxxx xxx* xxxx will have a different value depending if the truck is push button start or not.
Leaving the BCM data set to default did not influence this updated IPC test.
