I just looked tonight and mine already has a 0 in that spot but I still get the noise. I didn't think to try changing it to a 1 though, are you sure on the 0 and 1 for no prime and prime?

Weren't you talking about priming upon key insertion? This option seems to be upon door opening.

It still needs to happen at some point. I don't think the fuel pump priming can just be disabled.

Firstly, thanks to all who have worked on that master spreadsheet - helped big time with some of the annoyances of this truck.

Started playing with Forscan. Read Livinitup's info (Great stuff!!! Thank you!) and went in to change the number of flashes for the lane change from 3 to 5.
First thing I noticed is that the default value was 7, not 6. Changed it to A. I haven't checked out the change operation yet to see if OUC is different but just curious if anybody else has noticed this and did the value changed to work as expected.
Thanks

2018 F150 XLT 2.7
As built 724-01-01 0020 4728 BC
Changed to 724-01-01 0020 4A28 BF
Just joined here to confirm my '18 was the same, as built was a xxxx-x7xx-xx (3flash +OUC true), changed it to an B Which is supposed to be 5 flash + OUC true per the spreadsheet. Took it for a ride and the turn signal cancel works exactly as expected (Returning steering wheel cancels). Not sure if something has changed in the SCCM through the years?

As built:
Block 1
724-01-01 0020 4728 BC

Modified:
Block 1
724-01-01 0020 4B28 C0

So far my other mods that have worked exactly as intended:
  • Bambi mode
  • Global windows
  • Disable door ajar warning while in park
  • IPC quick boot
  • Disable "doo-doo-doo" Start up chimes
  • Re-enable autolock control in menu (My 2018 shipped without them)
  • Remove Sirius from audio list
  • Double click panic

These all worked exactly as the spreadsheet showed. It was just the turn signal one that is weird. Truck details in sig.

quick question. I am having the apim issues where the no gps symbol comes and goes. also BT drops randomly and huge laggy issues. I know from reading its the APIM failing. I did the diag through Forscan of course no codes or issues found.
Can Forscan be used to load a new APIM or does a dealer have to do it?

Yes, just thought maybe it would disable priming from either way. Gave it a shot just to see.

The mirrors I can't seem to find anything except for the 15+
There's a FORScan sticky in the sub-forum for your 2009-2014 F-150

On a new note, forgive my ignorance but since the dealer did the re-flash for the transmission issues on my '18 model, does that mean I need to re-save originals for all or any of the modules in ForScan. In other words, did their re-flash change anything I see in ForScan? Thank!

Save your current APIM settings in a backup file the same as you would the other modules. After you replace your APIM use Forscan to load your backup settings from that file.

so dealer isnt needed I am at 87,000 miles and I do not think my extended covers it. dealer said they had to diagnose it before they even check to see if I have coverage.... sounds fishy to me. also its my only vehicle and they want to keep it a week or so.... Can I get an apim out of a salvaged xlt and do that or best to buy a new unit?

You can get one from a salvage vehicle, or there are members here that sell them also. It doesn't necessarily have to come from an XLT or even a F150. The 8" APIM with Sync 3 is in plenty other Fords. When I replaced my Sync 2 with Sync 3, it came from a Mustang. You will program it with your trucks settings after the install anyway.
