Second, while saving all of the addresses in the respective .abt file, there were some yellow exclamation points saying the code was too long can it couldn't write it so it left it out. Is that normal?

Last, why do we not want to save the very first PCM (AS Built) module...? I probably would answer my own question if I knew what the acronym was but if someone could shed some light on these it would be great!

So what now? Now that I have all of the "stock" modules saved, I can go and change the appropriate codes and addresses? And if I ever have doubts I can just"flash" (for lack of a better word) and load all stock codes back?

Just trying to make sure... I know my dumbass is going to **** something up.
My 2017 Lariat has 27 modules. Might be because you have an XLT? For instance, if you don't have a heated steering wheel, I don't think you'll have a HSWM module.

Filename convention of (for instance) HSWM-ORIG.abt and HSWM-MOD.abt worked for all the files; as mentioned in the how-to there is one that won't back up.

Airborne Ape did mention something about "firing" a BCM module. Not sure if that's Canadian for "fried" it, nor what was required to fix it; hardware or just a firmware reload. So, I'd be careful. Kind of like carpentry or sheet metal work: Measure twice, cut once... Another anecdote from an aircraft avionics tech: Once you let the blue smoke out of the chip, you'll never get it back in.

I have seen the same large cluster of DTC's when reloading after a change. I closed the program, shut down the truck for 60 seconds and restart and reload. Normal loading.

Turn signal codes do exactly what the spreadsheet says: Turn Signal Flashes (# of). (Unless you didn't have LED turn signals and added them as a mod and now have the hyperflash in your cluster.) If you're looking at SCCM 724-01-01 xxxx x*xx, that controls the number of flashes of the signal (plus 2 flashes if trailer hooked up) when you press and release the turn signal stalk without locking it into turn mode. Lane-change mode, if you will.

Specified PSI. Unless you want to run a higher or lower pressure due to load, different tires, whatev, the specified pressure is on the sticker in your driver's door jamb, and in your owner's manual. The mod allows you to have a specific PSI show in the cluster on the tire pressure page as a reminder. Whatever PSI you want to show, you can program into it. It says it's for the SPECIFIED VALUE and has the number out to the left of the image of the truck-

Do the above values adjust the specified? Just curious because there are both front and rear and specified is only a single number.
So if I am thinking right I should change both to the hex value 28 so it will read 40.
Correct?

THANKS!
I made this change a couple weeks ago. It displayed in metric. Removed and have not revisited it yet. Any idea why it would do that?

Go into cluster settings, advanced settings, Display and you can choose the units that it will display.

...cause of this post I was able to do sleep last night. I'm a baby when it comes to jacking with stuff and have no experience in the back end of the car computer...just do a lot of research before playing with things...

My next question is this... after I remove the DTC's will I be able to continue to make changes in FORScan without messing anything up in regards to the tune or other Module modifications that i've made?

I remember doing that at the time and it was set to imperial. All my other settings were correct. It was just the tire pressure was in metric.

I must just have a weird truck. Mine is the one were the auto down on the windows doesn't work either but the settings are correct.

I plan to make it 76F and 10 minute timeout.

Made this change and it works fine; steering wheel doesn't get so hot, and after 10 minutes starts to cool a bit.

However, when it hits the 10 minute timeout I programmed into it and the heat shuts off, the heated steering wheel red dot stays lit. Any ideas on that?
