I've been successful doing most things I've wanted to do with ForSCAN.

But... guns and hookers? Count me in.

So I hooked up Forscan to my 2017 XLT to disable the car finder for my upcoming remote start, as well as the bulb outages for my LEDs I'm about to install so I don't need to run resistors.

I watched tutorials and noticed something. When it reads my truck's computer, it only shows APIM and BCM. I do have the trailer tow package installed as well as locking rear diff. I just have the 301a with Sport, nothing too fancy.

Any idea why nothing else shows up?

What adapter are you using?

I tried emailing sales at scantool.net the other day to see if they would offer members here a discount code to be used at checkout for the OBDlink MXBT. I gave them links to this thread and explained how this thread must be responsible for hundreds of units sold.
Anyways, here was the response I got:

"Thank you for recommending our product. We currently have an active discount that can be provided on our website once a customer signs up for our newsletter. The email with the code will be sent directly to them and they can use it same day."

I asked the FORScan developers to add the radar alignment procedure so that people doing this ACC mod wouldn't need the dealer (or anyone with IDS) to charge them for it. This new test beta of FORScan includes the ACC radar calibration in the wrench icon and I just got done testing this and it worked perfectly so I'm posting the link for everyone. http://forscan.org/download/FORScanS...st20170801.exe

When this calibration is initiated in FORScan you will see "Front Sensor Not Aligned" on the cluster and then you're instructed to drive 5-15 minutes until the message clears and then the alignment is complete. It only took me a few minutes driving 40mph for it to disappear and then ACC functioned normally.

Did you mod it with the toggle switch? If not, you will only see HS-CAN modules (the limited # you said you saw) and not the majority of modules on MS-CAN. Here's a picture of how to mod it if you're handy with a soldering iron otherwise you'll need to buy one with the MS-CAN switch or the OBDlink MXBT with automatic switch (see tutorial in my signature):

Can you make my parts get here faster?
