Sorry I did an edit to my post, forgot to mention that. It's the elm327 from amazon, the one you have listed on the tutorial.

I don't remember seeing anything about this. The only thing remotely close I've seen about radiator fan is this but it's about BMS:

Ok, if you're only seeing a few modules show up when connecting in FORScan go into the settings icon, connection tab at top and change "MS-CAN Support" to HS/MS Switch. Then try connecting again in FORScan but say no when it brings up your VIN's profile to make it rediscover all modules. Hopefully after it reads a few modules it will prompt you to flip the switch on the adapter and then find all the rest of the modules (ACM included). On all subsequent connection attempts you can yes when it brings up your profile if this is successful.

Go into the programming screen for ACM and make the following changes for the subwoofer:
727-01-01 xxx8 xxxx xxxx Auxiliary External Subwoofer ** use this for aftermarket kicker sub & amp along with one of the 727-01-02 choices below **

727-01-02 0788 C0 SuperCab with 6 Speakers & Kicker Sound
727-01-02 0888 C1 CrewCab with 6 Speakers & Kicker Sound
727-01-02 0988 C2 SuperCab with 7 Speakers & Kicker Sound
727-01-02 0A88 C3 CrewCab with 7 Speakers & Kicker Sound

Thanks a million. My 2yr son is waking up from a nap, so priorities first lol.

I'll finish digging into this tonight or tomorrow and let you know. Really appreciate the quick response!

Yes you can, super easy. Get a hardshell case with locks, fill a form, have the ******** at TSA see they're not loaded, place form in case, lock it, done.

NOOOOO. No no no no. TSA cannot get into your locked arms case. TSA and airlines specifically state that. You are the only one that has to have access to the case once TSA numbnut has verified the contents to be unloaded.

EDIT:

https://www.tsa.gov/travel/transport...and-ammunition

"Firearms must be unloaded and locked in a hard-sided container and transported as checked baggage only. Only the passenger should retain the key or combination to the lock unless TSA personnel request the key to open the firearm container to ensure compliance with TSA regulations."

Anyways, here was the response I got:

"Thank you for recommending our product. We currently have an active discount that can be provided on our website once a customer signs up for our newsletter. The email with the code will be sent directly to them and they can use it same day."
When I got mine last November, I was tipped off to a discount code (earlybird33) right on this forum... total cost with free shipping was just under $54 direct from Scantool.net
Hey Scantool folk, how about running that sale again and just have a discount code here for forum members. You WILL sell a boatload!

What is noted now in the spreadsheet is:
0 = Alarm menu missing from Advanced Settings > Vehicle

Livnitup as-built value is 5.

My as-built value is 1, and I don't have an alarm menu there, in my XLT. I tried 2 through F and this was what I found.

2 through 7 = Removed Rear Park Aid option with check box from Settings menu & added Alarm menu from Advanced Settings > Vehicle

8 = Removed both Rear Park Aid & Alarm menu from Advanced Settings > Vehicle

9 = Same as 0 (Rear Park Aid returned to menu)

A = Same result as 8

B through F = same result as 2 through 7.

I think that the results of this may vary depending on trim level and other options or settings that affect the behavior of this bit. Because if the as-built for Livnitup is 5 as shown in the spreadsheet, then he wouldn't have the same results. I'm sure his would have the Rear Park Aid in the menu, where as on my XLT, it was removed with 5.
Alarm Menu under the Settings/Advanced/Vehicle Menu
Rear Park Aid under the Settings Menu

1st nothing meant to offend carrierj or take away from his efforts, but this test just didn't make much sense to me, as there was no pattern to the data/results.
This is contrary to everything else we know about how these bit settings work.
So i took some time to recreate this test today to see what i would find...
With truck running i tried the 16 values. I did not have to turn the key off/on to see the results after each write, just waited a few seconds between writes for ipc to boot and check my menus.
2016 8" IPC
720-02-02 *xxx xxxx
0 - 0000 - Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Absent
1 - 0001 - Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Present
2 - 0010 - Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Absent
3 - 0011 - Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Present
4 - 0100 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Absent
5 - 0101 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Present
6 - 0110 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Absent
7 - 0111 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Present

D - 1101 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Present
E - 1110 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Absent
F - 1111 - Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Present
This was more as i expected it to be, as it is a clear test result and consistent with the stock values of 1 or 5 we normally have on the truck.

0 = Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Absent
1 = Alarm Menu Absent , Rear Park Aid Present
4 = Alarm Menu Present, Rear Park Aid Absent

0-f still doesn't give the 4.2 an alarm menu either way
