The break down I see is this:

GM - cheapest truck overall, worst quality, cheapest parts (aftermarket or OEM), questionable service/warranty practices.

Ford - most expensive overall, potentially best build quality, most expensive parts, terrible service/warranty practices.

Ram - middle of the road quality (could be great or could be terrible), lower pricing on lower and mid trims but higher on top tier models, middle of the road parts pricing, best service/warranty practices but slow and still jerk you around more than desired.

So you get a middle of the road truck with decent service, a crappy truck with questionable service, or the best quality truck with known terrible service. Pick your poison.

Call customer care again. It all depends on who you talk to. The right person will forward it to someone who can do something. You might have to make three or four calls for that to happen though.

I will and have taken this to additional social media pages. To me that's garbage that I have to call 3+ times to get to the right person. Let's dumb this down. How many chance does McDonald have to get your order right in the drive up window.. Once. If it's messed up you go inside and they take care of you. They also don't burn the fries and pawn them off on people hoping they don't come back in to get it fixed. Wink wink Ford and Adaptive Cruise (Ford told the dealer to go chase traffic). They also have a customer support line that actually handles issues. This is all done for a $5-$10 transaction I spent $60,000.

This doesn't surprise me one bit. Customer service from the dealership(s), Ford Service on this site and Ford Service via phone calls and emails all suck!

The paint on my front bumper pad on my truck started chipping. Ford repainted it and I was happy. Ford even called me and asked me if I was happy I replied yes. They said well to thank you for your kind words we would like to offer you 3/36K of free oil changes. Even more happy now, that didn't last long.

I had my driveshaft spline greased two different times due to a VERY WELL known bump issue. It came back! They replaced the entire driveshaft, it came back. Brought it a fourth time to get repaired and they said they didn't feel it so nothing was done and if he had felt the bump I may have been responsible for the repairs because its been repaired 3 times already. Brought to another dealer (Per Ford Service on here advice) and they greased it and so far its still gone. The "new" dealer said that they have found that most techs just put some grease on the spline but the entire tube that's included in the TSB kit needs to be used.

Had A/C issues brought it in and was told no issues. Brought to another dealer and they changed the expansion valve. It didn't fix the issue, brought it back and was told that Ford Engineers got involved and said that my A/C is normal and there are no issues AND that if I brought it back to Ford (ANY FORD) I would be responsible for the bill because the engineers say its normal. Even though I have proof from Fords own service manual that the temps of my condenser are NOT without spec when monitored by Fords IDS system.

Here is a huge thread to give you more info about my AC issues and how Ford handled them.

Just remembered that I did have to drive back to Bill Brown Ford to return the tools they left in the truck after replacing the tail gate step. When they did the tire rotation trying to fix the tire pressure sender fault they didn't even test drive the truck to get them working again. If they had they would of noticed that only three came back on line the problem one didn't till the next morning. It still goes offline now and then.

Their shuttle drivers know my name and where I live by now!

2015 Ford vehicles are the worst I have seen in my life. Period! Had a loaded 2015 Mustang with so many issues that the dealer bought it back. From the "left rear panel welded in too low" with all it's issues (crooked/twisted rear end) to lose leather seats. You name it. Didn't got my down payment back if I would not take a new FORD. Got the 2015 Ford F150 in May. In August my dash started warping all over. Dealer replaced it - with scratching the cluster lens. He tried to order one to replace it. Back order. Got my 1st service done at Denny Andrews in Edmonton. Watched the guys - doing nothing on my truck except dumping the oil. Got the key dropped in my hands - not even explaining the "not made" 1st service. "The truck needs only an oil change..... " story. Got in my truck - no copy of the 83 point inspection. No service sticker. Back to the "service manager". Where is my copy? "Ohh you need one?!" They wrote one on the desk with 12 mm break pads etc.. I asked how he knows that without taken off the wheels? "Hey man! It is a new truck....." I asked how he knows I do not need a new air filter without opening it and check it. "As I said. It's a new truck....."

Did go to the "Service Manager" to complain. Asking to get a service done like it should be. His answer? "How should I (the manager!!) know what has to be done? Go over there and ask the technician...".

Ford 2015? A whole bunch of idiots IMO. If they have the money - they don't know you anymore.

I have been driving a 2015 F150 since March and have 20K miles on it with no problems of any kind. It drives better now than when it was new so I guess I have been fortunate. Probably just jinxed myself. My dealer has been great but then again I have only been in for oil changes but they do have a local reputation for outstanding service.

I would go as far as saying buying my 2015 F-150 is the most regrettable decision of my life. I came from a 2014 Silverado that was much less truck in terms of features, but I wish I could have that truck back every time I drive this one. EVERY SINGLE TRIM PANEL IN MY TRUCK SQUEAKS. My leg rubs against the door, it squeaks... I put my hand on the dash to use the touchscreen, it squeaks. The keypad on the outside of the truck (which is stupid imo) had the numbers worn off of it the day I picked the truck up. A cowling trim piece was broken, the lights are melting, and worst of all- the door alignment issues. The door rattles back and forth over every bump, and HOWLS when driving down the highway. The Chevy that I owned was very much, to me, built better.

Test Drove a Silverado last night... would take a beating on prices but I am considering it. Half of the people on this page are brainwashed Ford loyalists... Who cares what brand truck you drive??? I'll take the one that doesn't make me angry every time I drive it. Don't tell me I should have expected this buying a new truck either. This is excessive, a pain in the a** and I really don't think I will be buying a Ford any time in the near future.

Oh I forgot, the AC SEATS DONT FRICKEN WORK

Probably not and is why I probably would never buy a new car or truck again. I will probably maybe get another F150 but it will be an older model. My 05 and 14 were solid trucks. This 15 not so much.

My wife and I always bought used and never had an issue.

Well Said and good point who cares what brand as long as your happy... Right now not to happy with Ford.

I live in the South and there alot more Chevy's on the road than Fords and I have alot of friends that have then and are 100% happy with them. Like I said I used to be 100% happy with my older Fords.
