Sounds like my problems with Chevy.
I had to have my F150 fixed. Not a warranty problem. The local dealer did a great job but I have been taking my passed company cars there and always had great results. There is another local Ford dealer and they are horrible, so I never go there. Dealers are just as important as the factory.
Good Luck, I would try a different dealer.

My leg rubs against the door, it squeaks... I put my hand on the dash to use the touchscreen, it squeaks. The keypad on the outside of the truck (which is stupid imo) had the numbers worn off of it the day I picked the truck up. A cowling trim piece was broken, the lights are melting, and worst of all- the door alignment issues. The door rattles back and forth over every bump, and HOWLS when driving down the highway. The Chevy that I owned was very much, to me, built better.

Test Drove a Silverado last night... would take a beating on prices but I am considering it. Half of the people on this page are brainwashed Ford loyalists... Who cares what brand truck you drive??? I'll take the one that doesn't make me angry every time I drive it. Don't tell me I should have expected this buying a new truck either. This is excessive, a pain in the a** and I really don't think I will be buying a Ford any time in the near future.

Oh I forgot, the AC SEATS DONT FRICKEN WORK
Man what an easy life you have had if what truck brand you bought was the worst decision of your life. I am impressed. Switch to decaf.

I bet money if you go to the RAM forum or Silverado forums you will find a thread just like this one, just swap brand names around.
Seems like prices keep going up and quality is about the same as it's always been which is hit a miss... Roll the dice when you buy your new "whatever"........This goes for everything!

Guess what, the company you work for has pissed off customers, if you own your own biz, you have pissed off customers sometimes because of something you or your employee did or did not do. Sometimes customers are just *** hats........

Here is my experience.

2012 FX4 SCREW Ecoboost. Paint issues, engine cutting out issues, rear end making clicking and clunking noises, seat making noises (springs?). None were resolved by Ford.

I would have kept the truck and got a 17 F150 in the future but I was sick of the issues and Ford not fixing them. Bought a 2014 Ram 1500 Crew 4x4 Sport after two years in the F150.

So far no issues. The Hemi seems like it has more power, and I average 2 mpg more for an average of 18.5 mpg. The F150 was 16.5.

If you were to ask me, I would say the Ram is a better truck in the comparable 2 years I have owned each. I think Ram made the right move with their Hemi and 8spd. Time will tell if Ford releases a game changer with the new ecoboost and 10spd. I would love to be in a Ford again. Does anyone have the engine cutting out issues in the 15+ F150?

None with mine. I have had 3 F150's over the years and drove them about 10 years each at over 100,000 miles each. I never had a major problem with any of them. Now the last one I just traded in was a 2002 on the 15. This one has been great so far just had the dash replaced and a cowl gasket replaced. My dealer did great work and I'm loving the truck.
This thread makes me sick to see that so many people are having problems with their dealers and Ford. Thank gosh I have a great dealership that will fix all the problems of a first year build.

'Dja ever notice that Ford doesn't use "Service is job #1" as their slogan anymore?

It's because it's not. Not. Even. Close.

I'm at almost three weeks waiting for a front differential, even though it was put in as a rush/emergency (their words).

Dealer has just kept saying they have no visibility into system & diff just showed in-transit. FordScv frontline callcenter rep told me a bit ago that he found the supplier sent a rear diff instead. Opened case & reg. CSM called to say he emailed the dealer to find out what's going on. I requested he do more than email & he was all like "I've only known about this for a half hour!"

Oh, really? Care to check your voicemail for the message I left you at 5:42pm 12/23? I acked his Christmas greeting, and requested follow-up the week after Christmas. If it was an "emergency" order why wasn't he in the loop then? Why was he only engaged now, when *I* escaled it? Why did the dealer lie to me about the rear diff showing up instead? I can handle bad news. Just not no news, or lies.
