Did you end up getting an XLT Sport main harness?

Would it be easier to just convert to the Raptor steering wheel with paddle shifters? (just trying to help)

Easier...yes, for me...no. I don't have anything against the raptor wheel, but I prefer the look & feel of the floor shift

Final update - This IS possible and now I know of at least ONE PERSON (me) that has successfully converted their 2015+ truck to a floor shift model.
A complete change of the Main wiring harness as well as the console harness if your truck is currently equipped with a console is required to make the swap work.

Thanks for that update, I am also looking to do the same, any way you can provide the part number for the main harness ?

The Main Harness is vehicle specific - check out my conversion thread

thank you, I looked at your thread, I am thinking about going to the Ford Dealer and finding an xlt with the floor shifter and the exact same equipment as mine and ordering the harness with that vin...? but my truck is a 2017 and the center console with the shifter I found used was from a 2016, I am wondering if it will still work

I did a online search for a XLT Sport since that normally narrows the trucks down to ones with console shift. The console & shifter will most likely fit with no issues, but it does seem that they changed a lot of wiring in 2017 so you may need to replace that harness also.

One last question, my truck comes with an ignition key, any trucks that will have a floor shifter are mostly push botton start, I wonder if that would be a problem if I change the main harness.
