Default Dammit.

So I was trying to install these switchbacks, and one of them popped off inside the housing. How much of a PITA is it to take the headlights off?

Although I’ve never done it, there are several posts about removing the headlights. I have watched a few YouTube videos showing you how. Looks easy if you are somewhat handy and have a few tools.

removing the headlights on the 2015-2017 looks easy.. removing the headlights on 2018-2019 is more involved you have to remove the whole grille

opening the headlights on both are a PITA .. check the lighting forum.. the retrofit thread has ideas

Lots of bolts....and if you have the fender flares a few plastic clips.
I thought the clips were the worst....and I broke one,

Do I have to remove the whole grill, or just the bottom part?

What year is your truck? I would try and wrap some double sided tape around a somewhat flexible wire and try and fish it out. I can take 15-17 heads out in about 10 minutes, but I have done it several times now.

I would use a skinny hose under suction to get that bulb out of that of the housing. This happened to me before with a sport bike headlamp.

Oh, I don't dig that deep, that's why I like truck details in signatures. Thanks
