Diode Dynamics, but I'm pretty sure this was my fault, not theirs. It popped off while I was trying to twist it back into the socket, but it didn't seem to be any looser than the stock one, so I probably banged it against something.

Tried that for a while and gave up. The hole is pretty small, but I think I can shake it out if I get the headlight off.

Yeah, I've been pretty happy with their stuff so far. It's not broken, it just popped out of the socket and fell inside the housing. At least I know where it is. Lol
And I did manage to get the high beams in.

One of these may work or a magnetic one if there's enough steel.

That's unfortunate. The headlights can be intimidating to those never doing it, my advice is be careful take your time and you'll be fine. I love my switchbacks from DD! And Summers, they are somewhat local so shipping quick! I think Chux can get them as well.

The idea with the wire wrapped in double sided tape could be helpful as well, Warmer ambient temps and tape will make it easier to stick and come back out. You could also do what I've done with a shop vac hose taped to a flexible fuel line and suck it out

I was going to suggest one of these too. I have used mine many times for different things in my truck. Great for fishing wires through and under the dash etc.
