Does anyone have the downloaded files they could post somewhere - identify if they are Nav or non-Nav? That is how I got the 2.2 update since it took Ford 6 months to actually release it. They should really give up on Software - they really s#ck at it.

Yesterday we updated IDS to v108.02 hoping this latest release would allow the download and installation of v3.0 for 2018 vehicles. Still doesn't work. Not sure when Ford will allow the download and installation of v3.0 either through IDS or the Ford Owner website even though v3.0 shows as a valid update from v2.3 on most 2018 vehicles.

 

Does this mean that 3.0 will only be available for 2018 models and further?

 

I'm running v3.0 Build 17276 on my 2017 with no issues.

 

Me too. But someone told me Ford is not planning an official release of 3.0 for older Sync 3 units. This person had been told so by a dealer.

 

Would be the first time I have seen the dealer have a real clue.

 

Long as an update runs I'll use it.
