Tried everything I could think of to get the truck to update using USB, but so far nothing but failure. Used both USB 2.0 and 3.0. exFAT and FAT32 (default allocation size) on 32G flash drives. Waited 5+ mins with truck running and truck just on. All files in root on USB. Also factory reset my SYNC3. When I insert the flash drive I see the internal light on the drive blinking immediately, but quickly turns off, so I know it's working, but no update pop-up. Not sure what to do at this point.

Not saying that is what is happening to you.

Yes. I extracted all files to a folder I created and copied the three files (2 files and a folder to be exact) to the root of the flash drive. I inserted it this morning and drove 20 minutes to work, but still no prompts.
Thanks. It sounds like the Non-Nav 17276 isn't quite ready for prime time, at least according to one of the mustang forums which I'm guessing where this linked file came from:

I did dl it but looks like all the file properties are the same as non-nav 17194. I might still try it or wait and see once someone confirms they were able to successfully install it.

Don't know if this makes a difference but worth checking. See if you have automatic system updates turned on in general settings menu. If not turn it on.
Updated to v3 17194 build a couple weeks ago with no issues, no loss of Gracenote. Install went well except I keep getting that annoying "connect to wifi" message unless I disable the automatic updates. Saw the link for 17276 that gets rid of that message and figured I would try it, did the update, Sync3 still says build 17194 and now there is no Gracenote version and I still get the pop-up messages for the wifi. Oh well, I guess that I can still live with it as long as my Sync3 didn't brick on me. Maybe I will try like others have to downgrade to v2.0 and then upgrade again.
Looking at the "autoinstall.lst" file for the 17276 afterwards, and it has "build 17194" listed, maybe someone linked the wrong one and labeled it as build 17294? Anyone out there that can check the autoinstall.lst file for 17276 build? Thanks.
