Did you unzip the source files when you copied them to your memory stick?

If you did unzip as Mike suggested, leave it in. Mine took about 10 to 15 minutes before I had any suggestion that it was in fact updating.

Not saying that is what is happening to you.

But here is what Ive found so far with 17276.

Build 17276 gets rid of the wifi prompt some users got with every ignition cycle on older versions.
So, to be clear, 17276 is still contacting the mothership to update apps and location info like the previous version....it's just not advising people it's doing it right?

Yes. I extracted all files to a folder I created and copied the three files (2 files and a folder to be exact) to the root of the flash drive. I inserted it this morning and drove 20 minutes to work, but still no prompts.

I did dl it but looks like all the file properties are the same as non-nav 17194. I might still try it or wait and see once someone confirms they were able to successfully install it.
I would agree. I am happy on 17194 and have been for the two + months I have been running it. I echo TF's comments that you really dont need to upgrade to 17276.

Don't know if this makes a difference but worth checking. See if you have automatic system updates turned on in general settings menu. If not turn it on.

Yes, I have auto update turned on. Worst case scenario can the dealer do this update?

To version 3.0? Since that is not official to f150 I seriously doubt it.

Updated to v3 17194 build a couple weeks ago with no issues, no loss of Gracenote. Install went well except I keep getting that annoying "connect to wifi" message unless I disable the automatic updates. Saw the link for 17276 that gets rid of that message and figured I would try it, did the update, Sync3 still says build 17194 and now there is no Gracenote version and I still get the pop-up messages for the wifi. Oh well, I guess that I can still live with it as long as my Sync3 didn't brick on me. Maybe I will try like others have to downgrade to v2.0 and then upgrade again.
Looking at the "autoinstall.lst" file for the 17276 afterwards, and it has "build 17194" listed, maybe someone linked the wrong one and labeled it as build 17294? Anyone out there that can check the autoinstall.lst file for 17276 build? Thanks.
Tom
