2016 platinum Nav upgraded from 2.2 to 3.0.

I echo the statement about the the advantages being worth the upgrade.

Not sure I'm following. That is a picture of Sync v3.0. In fact the GT theme is more polished in this latest version.

Well it been an hour since you posted this. Go back to the truck and start it up. Maps should load. Several people have had this issue and the maps load a little later than the update.

I can't get v3.0 to update from v2.2 on my Sync. Tried it 3 times and keep getting Error code:SIGN_ERRO1. I have downloaded the update twice on different 8 Gb sticks. The downloaded folder has been unzipped to show : Syncmyride
autoinstall.Lst
dontindex
I have installed the new USB hub months ago to run Carplay.

If anybody has any ideas what I'm doing wrong, any help would be appreciated.

Downloaded the 3.0 update and tried to install. Have checked everything a couple of times but it just doesn't load. Thumb drive is new, laptop says its loaded (and configured correctly) but when inserting into the USB hub it just never loads. Also when inserted Sync acknowledges it's there... I'm waiting 10-15 min. for it to start... what am I doing wrong?

I know one thing I had to do when I unzipped the file was move it to the desktop, and then I drug it to the USB drive. Then inserted into the passenger (right side) USB port in the truck. It immediately said software updating. For some reason it wouldn't work when I didn't move files to the desktop first. Not sure if that's your issue, but maybe try it
